Sorry it has been so long since my last post! It has been crazy busy here in Aalborg with going to classes and just getting acclimated to the city. I think I finally decided on my classes. I am still a little unsure of how they will transfer back to Creighton but it will all work out. I am taking American and British Social Cultural and Political History, Migration Processes and integration, Basic Danish and introduction to Scandinavia. I really like my political class. I have never exclusively learned about the UK or been taught about America from an outside perspective. I think they are going to be great classes. I am interested to learn specifically about Denmark and Europe's migration laws in my migration class. Basic Danish officially kicked off yesterday with a so called "Language Bath" it was 6 hours of Danish. The program did not drag because there were 6 different session we went to that were only about 40 minutes long. Each one focused on a different area of information like history of the language, pronunciation, numbers, sentence structure etc. It actually wasn't so bad. I am pretty awful at pronunciation I just hope the class will help me to improve. I am also really excited for ISCAN because we get to learn about Scandinavia and go on exciting field trips like a Viking burial ground and ride icelandic horses.
Besides the classes the hardest obstacle has been figuring out the bus system.

Yay new update! Your classes sound like they are really interesting, and I think it's great that you're learning the language... that class sounds like it's taught in a great way!

Also, you can install something called google analytics on your blog to see how many visits you are getting and where they are coming from... it's addicting. http://analytics.google.com

Thanks for the map - it helps to put things in perpective. Looks like a lot of green and a lot of water. What are some of the new foods you're trying? What's your weather? Did you pack okay for Aalborg? Kathy
